About Me

I've always loved the imagery and, indeed, the theology in the scripture quote above. Jesus certainly could have restored the sight of the blind man with a simple word but, instead, He chose to use the stuff of creation to effect healing. Clay , or earth,mixed with His own saliva.

It's elemental and sacramental and maybe even Incarnational.

I'm a New Englander so I'm obliged to love baseball and the sea. (And I do!) I'm a terrible Christian but I love the Church and her liturgy (-ies),

Most of all, I, like many of you, am that Blind Man waiting, perhaps in vain, for that day when I too shall be healed.
